LAKEWOOD, CO—May 3, 2007—The Learning Source , a local nonprofit working to educate adults and families in the Denver metro area, recently added two new members to its Board of Directors:  Shelly Duplantis, Ameristar Casino Blackhawk, and Kathleen Finley, CoBiz Insurance.

“Both women bring special expertise and experience to our Board,” explains Susan Lythgoe , executive director of The Learning Source .  “From her work in the casino industry, Shelly has seen the need to increase literacy levels among employees and was involved with the Kansas City literacy programs for many years before relocating to Colorado .  Kathleen has had a life-long commitment to education and community involvement.”
