The Learning Source

Programs and History

We began in a church basement in 1964 as the Colorado LiteracyAdult Education Tutorial Program with only 40 students and 16 volunteers. During the 2006/07 school year we reached just under 3,000 adults and families in 24 programs at fourteen locations throughout metro Denver. We could not have done this without the help of more than 100 volunteers.

Our centers are located in diverse locations such as community centers. schools, church basements, and the Denver County Jail.
